  1.  How to connect Strava with Force for Good?


You can sync your Strava activities with Force for Good. Connect your Strava account to Force for Good using these simple steps:


  1. Open the Force for Good mobile application and navigate to 'Settings.'


  1. Select 'Connect fitness app or device.', choose 'Strava.'and click 'Connect.'


  1. An external browser window will pop up, asking you to log in to your Strava account. Please make sure the login details match those in your Strava app.


  1. A permission screen will appear. 

    Important Notes:

  • Force for Good can access data you share publicly on your Strava by default.

  • Your private activities on Strava will remain confidential and hidden from Force for Good by default unless you explicitly grant permission. Please keep in mind that without this authorization, you won't be able to sync private activities. Therefore, we recommend allowing Force for Good to access your private activities data on this permission screen if you'd like to sync them.


  1. Click ‘Authorize’ to continue.


  1. Your Strava and Force for Good accounts are now connected.

  1.  How to sync activity once Strava and Force for Good are connected?


Once you've successfully connected, follow these steps to seamlessly sync your activity from Strava to Force for Good:


  1. Record your activity: Start by recording your activity on Strava.


  1. Ensure data accuracy: To ensure data syncs accurately, please align the activity method on Strava with the challenge method specified on Force for Good.

    For example, if the challenge in the Force for Good app is a 'walking' challenge, set your activity type on Strava to 'walk.' Similarly, choose 'bike' for biking or cycling challenges, and 'run' for running challenges. For detailed instructions on how to record an activity on Strava, read

  1. Join the challenge: Next, join the active challenge within the Force for Good app that you're eager to participate in.


  1. Start your challenge: When you're ready to record your activity, simply hit 'Start Challenge' within the app.


  1. Sync your data: To complete the process, click on 'Sync' on the challenge homepage, and your data will be effortlessly synchronized from your fitness device to the challenge.


  1. What do I do if my Strava data is not syncing to the Force for Good app?


  1. It is recommended to reconnect your Strava fitness accountt on both Strava and Force for Good applications.

  2. After doing so, please allow up to an hour for the data to sync

  3. To ensure you have the latest synced data, you can press the sync button on your challenge detail page.

  4. It is essential to double-check the input data on your Strava app to ensure that the activity type aligns with the challenge method.

  5. Additionally, please ensure that the activity start date/time on the Force for Good app is neither in the future nor more than 24 hours in the past.

  1. Select 'Connect fitness app or device', choose 'Fitbit’, and click 'Connect'.


  1. An external browser window will pop up, asking you to log in to your Fitbit account. Please make sure the login details match those in your Fitbit app.


  1. A permission screen will appear. To ensure Force for Good accurately syncs your fitness data, please grant all permissions. It's essential to note that selective permissions may result in inaccurate syncing.


  1. You have now connected Force for Good and Fitbit.


  1.  How to sync activity once Fitbit and Force for Good are connected?


Once you've successfully connected, follow these steps to seamlessly sync your activity from Fitbit to Force for Good:


  1. Record your activity: Start by recording your activity on Fitbit.

You can sync your Apple Health activities with Force for Good. Connect your Apple Health to Force for Good using these simple steps:

  1. When a new external window opens, you'll be asked to grant permissions for Force for Good to access your Health data. To ensure accurate data syncing, select 'Turn on all' to allow access to all activities.


  1. You have now connected Force for Good and Apple Health.

    1. Open 'Settings.'

    2. Scroll down and select 'Health.'

    3. Select 'Data Access & Devices.'

    4. Locate 'Force for Good' and enable permissions for reading Cycling Distance and Walking + Running Distance data from the Health app.

  2. It is essential to double-check the input data on your Apple Health app to ensure that the activity type aligns with the challenge method.

  3. Additionally, please ensure that the activity start date/time on the Force for Good app is neither in the future nor more than 24 hours in the past.

Force for Good In-built Tracker


  1. How to use the Force for Good in-built tracker?


Force for Good app comes equipped with an in-built GPS tracker to help you monitor your activities. Here are the steps to track your activity using this in-built tracker:


  1. Join challenge: join the active challenge you're eager to take part in.

  2. Start challenge: hit 'start challenge' when you're ready to record your activity.

  3. Select ‘Use in-built tracker’: To utilise Force for Good GPS in-built tracker, simply select this option.

  4. Allow location permission: ensure you grant location permission for the GPS tracker to accurately monitor your distance and time.

  5. Start workout: start your activity

  6. Stop Workout: once you've completed your activity, click 'stop,' and don't forget to share your activity summary on the challenge page. This way, you can track your progress and motivate your community.


Optional: 

  • Pause workout: If needed, you can also pause your workout and resume it after sometime.

  • Location Privacy: If you wish to ensure your location privacy, you can tap the 'x' button at the top of the location section to replace your shared location image while sharing your activity with the community.
